The Hummingbird LodgeA vision for a retreat center began some 20 years ago with confirming words from the Christian community, that this would be a place of renewal for the ministers of the Lord, and believed it would become a reality through the efforts of the body of Christ. Envisioned were facilities where believers could arrive and experience a moment of refreshment and renewal from the Holy Spirit's presence on the mountain.
In the Summer of 2007, with a blessing from God, doors of opportunity were opened for the Chapel of the Crowned King to purchase the Hummingbird Lodge to begin its ministry.

We look forward to assist your group as it makes the most of this type of setting for staff retreats, meetings, and/or team building exercises. The building will have over-night accommodations for groups up to 24 with any overflow going to nearby local lodging facilities. The vision is to build or acquire more space to expand the retreat center to accommodate larger groups in the future. The lodge has a full kitchen for preparing meals on-site, and local restaurants offer catered and dining room meals for guests as well.

Ministry OpportunitiesThis quaint mountain chalet is the perfect setting for the people of God to gather for rejuvination.
The Hummingbird Lodge sits in a beautiful mountain setting, but is not quite ready to receive guests. We acquired the lodge knowing that some remodeling would need to be done to fulfill its purpose. Clean up of the property grounds is also needed as the building has been empty and neglected before the Chapel gained ownership.
Join us for a weekend of team building - Volunteer your services or donate funds.We are organizing weekend teams for clean up, painting, carpentry and other tasks to help prepare this place for visitors, the people of God. In addition, there will be opportunities for terms of ministry that will be open for facilitators, maintenance workers and others. Those wishing to share their music ministry and teaching skills with groups at the lodge are encouraged to offer their assistance, and become partners with us and many others, who have caught the vision and are helping financially as well.
